AZ City PAC Makes Successful Debut at 2026 Arizona League of Cities and Towns Conference

New statewide PAC brings together mayors, councilmembers and business leaders to strengthen local decision-making across Arizona PHOENIX, Ariz. — AZ City PAC officially made its debut during the 2026 Arizona League of Cities and Towns Conference, bringing together mayors, councilmembers, community advocates and business leaders from across the state for an evening focused on the future of Arizona’s cities and towns. The successful launch marked an important first step for AZ City PAC, a statewide political action committee created to support local decision-making and strengthen the voice of Arizona communities. As Arizona continues to experience tremendous growth, decisions surrounding economic development, infrastructure, public safety and the future of individual communities increasingly impact residents and businesses alike. AZ City PAC believes the people closest to their communities are often best positioned to understand their unique needs, opportunities and challenges. “Our debut was about bringing people together,” said Jennifer Polansky, Treasurer of AZ City PAC. “Seeing mayors, councilmembers and business leaders from communities across Arizona in the same room reinforced why this effort matters. Strong communities are built when local leadership, residents and the business community have a meaningful voice in shaping their future.” Litchfield Park Mayor Tom Schoaf emphasized the importance of collaboration between state and local leaders. “Cities and towns are where people live, work and build their lives, so local leaders have an important perspective on what their communities need,” Schoaf said. “Having state legislators who listen to that perspective, understand the value of local decision-making and work collaboratively with communities is incredibly important. When we have that kind of partnership, we can focus on what matters most creating communities where people and businesses have the opportunity to thrive.” AZ City PAC will work to build relationships throughout Arizona, support local leadership and advocate for policies and candidates that recognize the importance of strong, locally driven communities. The turnout and enthusiasm surrounding the organization’s debut demonstrated growing interest in creating a stronger statewide network around local issues. The momentum is real and AZ City PAC is just getting started. To learn more about AZ City PAC, visit AZCityPAC.com.
