Our mission is to support the prevention and healing of trauma through innovative mental health services that treat the whole person, equip parents and nurture resilient families.
Dawn Childhood Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing trauma and promoting healing for children and families through accessible, trauma-informed mental health services. The Foundation supports multiple programs designed to meet families at different levels of need, with a focus on early intervention, prevention, and whole-family care.
Dawn Institute operates as a clinical program under the Dawn Childhood Foundation, providing therapeutic services, assessments, parent support, and trauma-informed treatment for children, adults, and families. The Institute uses evidence-based and developmentally appropriate approaches to support emotional regulation, attachment, and long-term resilience.
In addition to clinical services, the Foundation includes a Community Outreach and Prevention Program, which focuses on education, training, and partnership with schools, community organizations, and service providers. This role supports prevention efforts, increases access to resources, and strengthens community awareness around trauma, attachment, and mental health.
Together, Dawn Childhood Foundation, Dawn Institute, and community outreach efforts work collaboratively to reduce barriers to care, strengthen families, and promote lasting healing at both the individual and community level.
